We had a brilliant time staying here for 3 nights - we stayed in the Base Rock pod. We are a family of 4 - kids 8 and 12. The pod is a good size and really economical with its space. We slept in the main bed and the kids slept on the sofa bed which is really comfy and really big. The pod was super clean and all the equipment and appliances in there were in really excellent condition. It was warm when we stayed there but the POD has under floor heating so should be really cosy in colder months. The views from the pod are amazing (fields and sea) and it was great for the kids to go out wandering safely and watching things like deer cross the fields. The location of the pod is great - really close to Dunbar (10 minutes), North Berwick (20 minutes and a fantastic place to visit) and many other places and villages. Loads to do round there and lots of amazing beaches. its about a 50 minute drive to Edinburgh (which we did) and you can also get a train from Dunbar which is fast (c30 minutes) and pretty cheap. The hosts (Lennox and Clemency) were brilliant - in the pod waiting for us were milk and eggs (from their chickens and ducks which were amazing). They gave us excellent directions and guidance on how to get there and access the pod, they shared information on where to visit and eat and on the last day they took us and our children to see the animals they keep on their land. They were really generous with their time and the kids had a brilliant time. East Lothian is a great place to visit and we really cant recommend this place highly enough - we will definitely be back

The eco lodges are set in a slice of heaven. You look out to the most beautiful views of sea, fields and mountains as far as the eye can see. The owners, Clemancy and Lennox, could not have been more helpful. They are extremely kind and were on hand to help with anything at all that we needed. The lodges are small but perfectly formed. We stayed with our 2 small children so although it was cozy, there was enough space for us all to be comfortable. They are immaculate and very well built. There is plenty to do in nearby Dunbar, Edinburgh is 20 mins by train and there are lots of walks to do on your doorstep. A truly memorable stay.

This is an incredibly beautiful place. The setting is idyllic. Quiet, beautiful. Fantastic views of Bass island and the sea from Belhaven pod. The owners of the place were extremely lovely. They left eggs from the ducks on the farm for us as well as chocolate bars and cheese. We were arriving late at the property and they left the keys to the property in an easily accessible place and the lights on for us to get into the property without any problems. Extremely thoughtful.

Clemency and Lennox are great host.Had a really wonderful stay at Bass Rock Pod. The pod was absolutely perfect for us as a family- so well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with absolutely stunning views in the middle of nature. We really loved having a tour of the farm and got to spend great time with the hosts. Enjoyed some produce from the farm too :) We can't recommend this beautiful place highly enough and look forward to returning. Jiten Pooja Yash.

Great stay here, fantastic views and privacy. We travelled for a wedding nearby which meant we weren't at the accommodation as much as we would've liked and by the end we didn't want to leave. The girls loved spending time with the animals. Owners were a fantastic help, exceptionally friendly too and very accommodating. All of the instructions were clearly detailed from how to get here to all the amenities. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
